Utilities should be positioned from the approved equipment drawing before assembly.
In short: provide a compliant electrical circuit, a drain with the required fall and freeze protection, and free condenser airflow.
An electrician must select cable, isolation, protection and earthing from the unit data. Do not assume single- or three-phase supply from room size.
Route condensate without backfall. Freezer drains may need heating and insulation. Follow local drainage and hygiene rules.
The condenser must not discharge hot air into a small unventilated space or draw that air straight back into its inlet. Use model-specific clearances.
Electrical supply
Confirm voltage, phase, and amperage. A wall or ceiling monoblock typically runs on single-phase 230 V; larger split systems may require three-phase 400 V. The connection point must be within cable reach of the planned refrigeration unit.
Frostbox refrigeration is supplied by Daikin (families such as GS, SP-O, DB-O) — confirm the electrical requirement against the specific unit datasheet, since the refrigerant and electrical spec are version- and market-dependent.
Condenser location (split systems)
Identify where the external condensing unit mounts. Allow a minimum 500 mm clearance on the air-intake side for adequate airflow; restricted airflow cripples capacity and can trip the unit on high pressure.
Condensate drainage
The evaporator sheds condensate during defrost. Plan a gravity drain route from inside the room to a suitable discharge point, with a trap to block warm, humid air ingress through the drain line.
Lighting
Decide on internal lighting now, and plan the cable penetration location so it can be sealed cleanly during the build. Sealing a penetration after the panels are up is far harder.
