Wine cellar cooling & humidity system

Wine does not forgive climate swings. RDV holds a cellar at +10…+20 °C with humidity management — cooling on hot days, heating on cold ones — so the bottles see seasons, not weather. The evaporator is built for quiet (from 35 dB(A)) and gentle air movement that does not dry the corks.

What makes it work

Two sizes, two circuits. RDV1xx single-circuit and RDV2xx twin-circuit models cover cellars from about 20 to 90 m³.

Refrigerant: R-134a

This system runs on R-134a (GWP 1430), a proven refrigerant for commercial refrigeration with stable performance across the full operating envelope.

The refrigerant circuit is completed on site (brazed connections, pressure test, vacuum and charge top-up where required) — installation and commissioning belong in the hands of an F-gas certified engineer. FrostBox can put you in touch with one in your region.

Installation

Professional installation: the cellar unit mounts inside, the condensing unit goes to the roof, outdoors or a plant room. Brazed line connections by an F-gas certified engineer.
